The 54-year-old judge wore a backless, low-cut white gown that sparked criticism from some viewers who deemed it inappropriate for a family show airing at 7pm.
While many fans praised her stunning appearance, others took to social media to express their disapproval of the revealing dress choice.
The controversy marks another instance this year where viewers have shared strong opinions about Holden’s wardrobe selections on the ITV programme.
Holden wore a custom-made dress by Saint Hendrix, styled by Karl Willett and Adele Pentland.
The floor-length white gown featured a halter-neck design with a very low front, accentuated by two signature pieces that drew attention to the plunging neckline.
The judge completed her look with her hair styled in a low bun, adorned with a bespoke hair piece from Louise Mariette.
She accessorised the ensemble with silver jewellery from The Diamond Lab, creating a coordinated appearance for the show’s finale.

Once all the acts had taken to the stage, Ant and Dec revealed the top three as voted by the public: LED dance troupe The Blackouts, magician Harry Moulding, and gymnastics prodigy Binita Chetry.
Binita was announced in third place, before Moulding was announced as winner, leaving The Blackouts in second place.
