Christina Trevanion overjoyed as BBC Bargain Hunt star brands new family addition the ‘missing piece of puzzle!’
Christina Trevanion has been inundated with well wishes after revealing she’s welcomed the “missing piece from our family jigsaw puzzle”.
The Bargain Hunt star took to Instagram to share the news that she and her family decided to adopt a pet cat in need following a heartbreaking appeal.
Trevanion teamed up with the crew at the Cat Assist Team Whitchurch (CATW) to give adorable feline, Sprout, a new home.
Sprout was found with broken legs and “unable to walk” according to the non-profit organisation before the CATW took him in.

The cat had to have both of his front legs reconstructed, with the CATW confirming the use of steel rods, laser therapy, and physiotherapy to get him on the mend.
Once back to good health, Trevanion took him home, with the CATW and the Bargain Hunt star sharing the story on social media this week.
The CATW penned on Instagram: “Remember Sprout? Found roadside with two broken legs and a seriously uncertain future… well, here’s his journey!”
Delving further, the charity explained: “Last October, Sprout strutted his way into his forever home, where he’s now living his best life, being absolutely spoiled (as he should be).
“Snacks? Constant. Cuddles? Mandatory. Front legs? Fully functional and ready for biscuit-making,” they teased.
Paying tribute to Trevanion, the CATW went on: “We’re so proud of Sprout and beyond grateful to his wonderful adopters for loving him the way he deserves.”
Trevanion, who shared the CATW’s post on her own page, also released a statement describing her time living with the new addition to the family.
“Sprout is the piece we never knew was missing from our family jigsaw puzzle,” Trevanion began.
She continued: “He is the sweetest, chattiest, cheekiest boy and gives the best cuddles!
“Thank you to CATW for giving Sprout a chance; we honestly couldn’t imagine life without him.”
Inevitably, it didn’t take long for social media users to express their delight at seeing Sprout safe and in a new home with Trevanion.
One Instagram user penned in the comments of the post: “A perfect outcome after such challenging injuries and dedicated care.
“Couldn’t be in a more loving family home to enjoy living his best pampered life. Touches your heart deeply. xx.”
A second echoed: “He is absolutely gorgeous, glad he has the best home, well done to all the vets and staff too.”
And a third simply replied to Trevanion’s news: “Sprout is an amazing little boy.” (sic)
Trevanion first reflected on her journey with Sprout back in early January after celebrating her first Christmas with her new pet.
She urged fans to “adopt, not shop” when looking for new pets before branding Sprout “the sweetest, chattiest, most delightful addition to our family”.
