Justin Bieber sparks concern with dishevelled appearance amid marital concerns: ‘What happened to him?!’
Justin Bieber sparked fresh concerns after being spotted looking disheveled and exhausted whilst leaving a studio in New York City last week.
The 30-year-old singer appeared particularly gaunt as he stepped out alone in baggy black trousers and a jacket.
Despite the rainy Thursday evening, Bieber wore his black-and-white striped shirt completely unbuttoned, exposing his tattooed chest and underwear waistband.
The Sorry hitmaker contrasted his muted ensemble with a bubblegum-pink toque, whilst sporting a patchy beard that emphasised his scruffy appearance.
The concerning outing marks the latest in a series of somber public appearances by the star in recent weeks.
Earlier that day, the couple fuelled speculation about their relationship when they were seen separately at Bar Pitti restaurant.
Hailey left the establishment alone at 4:30pm., with Bieber arriving with friends just 30 minutes later. He departed by himself around 6:40pm.
The day prior, on Wednesday, Bieber was spotted in Manhattan wearing a bright yellow hoodie and oversized cargo trousers. At one point, he was seen grabbing his crotch whilst walking down a busy street before getting into a waiting SUV.
The snaps of Bieber quickly went viral online, with fans expressing concern and disbelief over his appearance.
“No way that’s Justin Bieber. what happened to him?!” another shocked fan questioned.
Another asked: “Is this really Justin Bieber?”
“I genuinely feel terrible for him. He is going to become another tragic story if someone doesn’t get him help,” a third feared.
A fourth uncharitably observed: “He looks awful…like he just got released from federal prison.”
Sources close to the Bieber and Hailey have revealed that his weary appearance may stem from becoming “borderline reclusive” due to struggles with public exposure.
“Justin has been struggling for the last couple of years and a significant part of that is down to his worry about being in certain public situations,” a source told the Daily Mail.
The insider explained that the singer has developed “a deep fear of being out in spaces with lots of people” and anxiety about large crowds.
Friends have said these fears have impacted Hailey, who has been trying to help him overcome them, with their recent Aspen trip reportedly being an attempt to ease him back into public life.
Sources told The Mail that Hailey’s friends are increasingly concerned about Justin’s “unacceptable behaviour,” with some urging her to leave the musician.

“Hailey’s been struggling with Justin almost since the start of the marriage,” an insider revealed. “She loves him madly but he’s a loose cannon. Some of her friends have advised her to go it alone and leave him.”
The situation intensified when Justin recently unfollowed several notable figures on social media, including his mentor Usher and former manager Scooter Braun.
He also unfollowed Hailey briefly, later claiming his account had been hacked, writing: “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S**t is getting suss out here.”
