Molly-Mae Hague in tears as she ‘struggles with feeling very sad and deflated’ on first Christmas without Tommy Fury
Molly-Mae Hague has made an emotional admission about feeling “deflated” as she prepares for her first Christmas without ex-fiancé Tommy Fury.
The former Love Island star shared her struggles in a candid Christmas Eve vlog, revealing she has found the festive period particularly challenging this year.
In the heartfelt video, the 25-year-old mother opened up about feeling “mentally quite heavy” as she navigates the holiday season with her young daughter Bambi.
The influencer confessed to her followers that she hasn’t been in the “Christmas mood” and has found recent days especially difficult.
“I have found the last few days quite challenging mentally and I have been quite down,” Hague admitted in her YouTube vlog.
She explained her recent absence from social media, saying: “Even if I had picked up my camera it would be like fake happiness and fake giddiness about Christmas and I would never come on and act a way that I’m not feeling.”
The candid confession revealed a stark departure from her usual festive spirit, with Hague choosing to be honest with her followers about her current emotional state.
“I have a lot of stuff on my mind and I was just thinking about a lot and feeling quite sad,” she shared.
In a poignant reflection, Hague opened up about experiencing Christmas differently for the first time in her life.
“It’s so sad when people say that Christmas brings up emotions and for people, it can be a really really sad time of the year.”
She also noted that she had previously been “blessed” to never feel this way during the festive season.
“This is the first Christmas ever where I can really understand what people talk about.”
She went on to add that “when you’ve got things going on in your personal life it can really bring it all up and make it feel 10 times worse.”
Despite having family around her for the holidays, Hague expressed feeling guilty about her role as host.
“I just didn’t feel like I could really be present because I have a lot of stuff on my mind,” she revealed in her emotional vlog.
The influencer remained hopeful about improving her mood, stating: “Gonna wake up with hopefully a more positive attitude tomorrow, and we go again.”
