Nicola Peltz, 30, sparks fresh feud rumours with closest pal amid Beckham family rift drama as fans spot odd trend
Nicola Peltz has found herself at the centre of fresh speculation over another supposed rift after eagle-eyed fans observed that she failed to publicly acknowledge pal Selena Gomez’s 33rd birthday on July 22.
The notable silence has prompted questions about the state of their friendship, particularly given their previously close relationship.
Social media users were quick to highlight the absence of birthday wishes from the 30-year-old actress, who typically marks such occasions for close friends.
Multiple followers left comments on Peltz’s recent Instagram posts questioning the omission.
“She is no longer friends with Selena?” one fan enquired, whilst another wrote: “No selena? I miss your friendship with Selena.”
A third follower noted: “Wondering that too as it’s Selena’s birthday and she usually posts for that, wall, stories or on Selena’s wall.” (sic)
The apparent cooling of their relationship comes at a particularly significant time, as Gomez had reportedly been a key source of support for Peltz during her ongoing difficulties with the Beckham family.
According to reports from two months ago, the Only Murders In The Building actress had been actively comforting her friend through the family tensions.

Sources claimed that Gomez, 32, was “always there for her friends if, and when they need anything” and had been messaging Peltz regularly to help distract her from the drama.
An insider told the Daily Mail: “She has been messaging Nicola and trying to keep her mind off the drama.”
The singer bad been believed to have been discussing her wedding plans with music producer Benny Blanco with Peltz, seeking her advice on the upcoming nuptials.
The friendship between Peltz and Gomez began at the 2022 Met Gala, where they first met and subsequently developed a strong connection.
Their bond grew so close that Gomez once joked about being in a “throuple” with Peltz and her husband Brooklyn Beckham after the trio spent New Year’s Eve together in Mexico in 2023.
Brooklyn himself spoke warmly about their friendship on The Jennifer Hudson Show in March, describing Gomez as “such a sweet girl” and expressing his happiness that his wife had made “really great friends”. He added: “You know, we all get along.”
Meanwhile, Peltz and Brooklyn have continued to post updates on social media, the former taking a more racy approach than usual.
Earlier this week, Peltz posed completely naked in a bathtub, sharing the subsequent image on Instagram.
Brooklyn gushed over his wife’s raunchy display while on his own social media platform, he’s been promoting the release of his new hot sauce and cooking endeavours.
However, Brooklyn found himself under fire from followers when he appeared to use salt water from the sea for one of his latest cooking demonstrations.
While he may no longer be on speaking terms with his parents, mum Victoria appeared to extend an olive branch by “liking” her son’s social media activity.
The same can’t be said for his brothers Romeo and Cruz, however, with the pair no longer following their older brother and even facing reports they’d “blocked” him on the site.
