Kaleb Clarkson brands Jeremy Clarkson ‘incompetent’ as he makes brutal admission: ‘Easier if he wasn’t there!’
Kaleb Cooper has complained about Diddly Squat Farm colleague Jeremy Clarkson, admitting “life would be easier” without the Grand Tour star.
Cooper, 27, opened up about the tough period he faced last year with Clarkson as he reflected on the recent fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm.
Cooper became a household name after joining Clarkson, 65, on his hit Amazon Prime show, which launched in 2021.
As the former Top Gear star’s right-hand man, Cooper has since formed his own following, having released books and performing in a recent tour.
The duo have always faced their fair share of squabbles at Diddly Squat, and now father-of-two Cooper has declared how much “easier” things would bed without Clarkson.
“Jeremy and I argued quite a bit in harvest because it was so stressful for me trying to do my very best again as a contractor,” he explained.
He went on: “It was pretty tough mentally. The problem with harvest was because I’m still young, I’m 26 [at the time], I think a lot of people can doubt me sometimes.
“And I doubt myself sometimes because I think everyone does ask themselves if they’re going doing things right,” the farmer admitted to Express.
Taking a swipe at his co-star, he added: “Jeremy really enjoys doing the harvest, but he’s a pain.
“Life would be easier if he wasn’t there during harvest, just because he’s a bit incompetent!”
Both farmers often aim savage swipes at each other, with Clarkson having recently marked Cooper’s 27th birthday with a playful joke.
Cooper took to Instagram and shared a video of himself on a tyre swing with his lookalike brother Kieron.
He penned: “Here’s to 27 year old! Thank you all for the birthday messages!”
It didn’t take long for both fans and Clarkson to leave their responses in the comments section, and many of the birthday wishes centred on Cooper’s rarely-seen younger brother.
While many joked about the brothers looking “like twins,” Clarkson focused on a different aspect of the snap.
The television presenter brutally wrote: “I’d worry about that rope.”
Season four newcomer Harriet Cowan also shared a sweet comment on the post, in spite of rumours that the two got off to a bad start.
She posted a photo of the two taken during filming for season four and tagged the Diddly Squat farm manager alongside a gif of the phrase: “Happy birthday.”
Speculation about the pair’s relationship had been rife following Cowan’s Clarkson’s Farm exit, particularly because of Cooper’s objection to her filling in for him while he was on tour.
However, despite getting off on the wrong foot, Cowan confirmed they now “get on really well” after the cameras stopped rolling.
