Nicola Peltz has reacted to a comment left by a social media follower defending her amid ongoing rumours she is at the centre of the speculated rift within the Beckham family.
Petlz, 30, and husband Brooklyn Beckham, 26, have faced months of criticism as theories about the apparent feud continue.
Now, Peltz has appeared to respond to criticism about her relationship with Brooklyn, with the actress understood to have liked the supportive comment on Instagram.
The actress liked a fan’s comment defending her against accusations that she controls her husband, The Mirror reports. The supporter wrote: “The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd.”
They continued: “The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.”
The interaction occurred beneath photos Peltz shared on Monday from her father Nelson Peltz’s 83rd birthday celebration, which Brooklyn attended.
The birthday celebration has drawn attention as Brooklyn reportedly did not attend any birthday celebrations for his own father David Beckham, 50, earlier this year.
Sources suggested there was “distance” between Brooklyn and his parents, with his apparent absence from David’s party noted alongside his failure to publicly mark Father’s Day.
In her Instagram tribute to Nelson, Peltz described feeling “lucky” to be his daughter and praised his “constant love and support”. The post attracted both well-wishes and criticism from followers.
Some commenters accused Peltz of being responsible for the rumoured rift between Brooklyn and his parents.
One critic wrote: “Seems he’s brainwashed to only celebrate HER family and not his. Get some balls man and don’t let her ruin the bond you had with your family before she came in the picture.”
The couple, who married in 2022, have faced persistent speculation about family tensions. Previous claims suggested Peltz “finds a way to start an argument” between Brooklyn and his family, though sources have defended her.

Despite the criticism, Brooklyn and Peltz have maintained a united front. Last week, Brooklyn posted that his wife is “his world” whilst marking their engagement anniversary.
He wrote on Instagram: “It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me. Best decision ever.” He added: “I love you so much.”
Peltz reciprocated with her own anniversary message: “5 years ago we got engaged. I love living life with you baby. I loveee you so muchhh.”
The couple’s anniversary posts were met with mixed reactions, prompting a source to tell The Mirror that they are “enjoying their lives together” despite the negativity.
