Cruz Beckham has shared a poignant throwback photograph on Instagram featuring all four Beckham siblings with their mother Victoria, as reports emerge that his eldest brother Brooklyn has severed contact with the famous family.
The 20-year-old musician posted a black and white image showing Victoria cradling baby Harper whilst Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz nestled close to their mother on a sofa.
The photograph, believed to date from 2011, appeared on Cruz’s Instagram Story without any caption or tags, making the timing particularly significant. Some fans have interpreted the post as an olive branch to his elder sibling amid the reports.
Cruz’s post comes after sources close to the family claimed that Brooklyn, 26, “told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect”, though representatives for the aspiring chef have disputed these claims.
The alleged breakdown in communication comes amid an escalating family feud that has seen Brooklyn distance himself from his parents and siblings.
The source told Page Six: “Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect.”
A representative for Brooklyn responded to these claims, however, stating: “This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn’s father.”
Another source close to Brooklyn told the publication: “Everyone’s focus should be David Beckham’s great honour”, referring to the footballer’s upcoming knighthood.
Cruz’s subtle response through the nostalgic family photograph comes as tensions within the Beckham clan have reportedly reached breaking point.
The image shows a younger Brooklyn lying his head affectionately on his mother’s shoulder, a stark contrast to the current state of their relationship.
Cruz shared the throwback photo shortly after the reports emerged claiming that Brooklyn was refusing to respond to his parents’ messages.

The family rift is believed to involve tensions between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo over past relationships, particularly concerning model Kim Turnbull.
Turnbull and Brooklyn used to mix in similar social circles which led to claims they may have dated previously. Cruz spoke out previously to deny the two ever dated.
Nevertheless, reports of Brooklyn and his wife Nicola questioning Turnbull’s motives for dating Romeo emerged.
However, multiple outlets have identified Nicola as central to the family rift, with tensions allegedly beginning around their April 2022 wedding.
Brooklyn’s absence from significant family events has highlighted the severity of the rift, with the aspiring chef missing all of David’s 50th birthday celebrations last month.
Despite being in London at the time, Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend the family party at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds home, a trip to France, or a meal at Notting Hill restaurant Core.
The extent of the communication breakdown became apparent when Brooklyn supposedly only learned of his father’s knighthood through media reports rather than directly from his family.
According to Page Six, “the eldest Beckham boy has had no communication with his family following father David’s knighthood being announced last week and only learned of the news in the media alongside the rest of the world.”
