Laura Woods, 37, fiancé Adam Collard, 29, hospitalised for urgent surgery as he shares candid update
Love Island star Adam Collard has undergone back surgery whilst his fiancée Laura Woods made her return to TV presenting.
The 29-year-old reality star shared images from his hospital bed on Instagram as he recovered from the procedure.
Meanwhile, Woods, 37, was back on screens for TNT Sports, hosting Champions League coverage just three months after the couple welcomed their first child, Leo.
Despite his surgery, Collard showed his support for Woods as she presented Barcelona vs Inter Milan’s Champions League semi-final clash.
He shared a video clip from his hospital bed showing him watching her broadcast on TNT Sports.
“Now watching my girl from the bed on her first day back,” he wrote on Instagram, adding a love-struck emoji.

The Love Island star was seen dressed in a white hospital gown as he lay in bed watching the mother of his child on TV.
Collard praised his fiancée’s return to work, writing: “Proud of her after only 13 weeks getting back into the mix.”
He added that she had been his “rock throughout this whole injury, process and the last six months in general on all fronts.”
Woods was seen hosting alongside familiar faces Steve McManaman and Owen Hargreaves in the studio for the Champions League coverage.
The couple welcomed their son Leo Ernie Collard in January, sharing the news with a heartwarming post on social media.
“Leo Ernie Collard, our boy,” they wrote alongside a love heart emoji.
The pair have been together since October 2023, with their relationship moving quickly.
They announced their engagement in September when Collard proposed at the beach in St Ives, the place where they “fell in love”.
Collard shared several images on Instagram documenting his surgery, including one showing him on crutches with the caption: “Back Surgery..”
In another post, he gave a fist pump from his hospital bed, writing: “Completed it mate.”
The reality star also shared a throwback picture of himself from two years before the surgery, showcasing his chiselled physique.
Despite the gruelling procedure, he remained focused on supporting Woods during her television comeback.
While Adam was in hospital, Laura shared that her mother was on babysitting duty for little Leo during her “first day back at work”.
She posted an adorable photo on her Instagram stories showing her mum and Leo waving her off as she returned to presenting duties.
The arrangement allowed Woods to make her professional comeback whilst ensuring their three-month-old son was well cared for.
Laura recently opened up about her post-birth fashion struggles, admitting she’s been “living in tracksuits” since having Leo.
Earlier this month, she attended a friend’s wedding as a bridesmaid, wearing a floor-length pink gown from Six Stories.
“I find it very difficult to dress since having my little man, unless it’s in a tracksuit. So very grateful I found them,” she shared on social media.
