ITV CBB sparks huge viewer row as fans fume ‘deluded’ after winner of series announced: ‘I’m sobbing!’
Celebrity Big Brother wrapped up on Friday, and viewers wasted no time in sharing their thoughts on the winner.
The finalists included Chris Hughes, Chesney Hawkes, JoJo Siwa, Donna Preston, Danny Beard and Jack P Shepherd.
Fans initially fumed about how “rushed” the episode felt, with the first few minutes seeing both Love Island star Hughes, 32 and singer Hawkes, 53, evicted in quick succession.
They were swiftly followed by comedian Preston, 38 and dancer JoJo Siwa, 21.
Eventually, it was between drag performer Beard, 32 and Coronation Street star Shepherd, 37.
After a tense pause, Big Brother announced actor Shepherd had managed to win over the public more than any other housemate and had won the series.
Fans were split down the middle in their response to the finale, with several from both sides taking to social media to share their thoughts.
Writing on X, one commented: “Most underwhelming win ever. Corrie fans are deluded lmao. Guy was so bland. #CBB #BigBrother.”
