The relationship reveal comes just months after Cyrus’s contentious divorce from singer Firerose, 36, was finalised in August.
Their marriage had lasted merely seven months following their October 2023 wedding, which itself had come shortly after Cyrus’s 30-year marriage to Tish Cyrus ended.
Cyrus was accused of being verbally abusive to Firerose, with an audio recording capturing a foul-mouthed rant where he called her a “selfish b****” during an argument about being late for a show, the Daily Mail reports.
Further recordings revealed Cyrus’s disturbing comments about other women in his life, including referring to his famous daughter Miley as “devil” and a “skank.”
Court documents revealed the 36-year-old walked away from the marriage with nothing from Cyrus.
An insider source told the Mail: “She settled for nothing just to be done with him and get away from the situation.”
Earlier this year, Cyrus was also roundly mocked for his disastrous ‘train wreck’ set during a celebratory ball dedicated to the re-election of Donald Trump.
The singer appeared surly and unfocused as his mic failed, before the entire stage was plunged into darkness as the lights were shut off.
The bizarre scenes prompted an intervention from his son Trace, who implored him to seek “help”.
“You’re not healthy dad and everyone is noticing it,” the musician wrote, adding he “barely recognised” his father anymore.
As such, fans flocked to the comment’s of Hurley’s Instagram post to warn her off the new relationship.
“THAT is bizarre. From Hugh Grant to him? Noooooo girl, no,” one shocked user wrote.
Another advised: “Run for your life girl!!”
“Is anyone else wondering why she’s not seeing the (red flag emojis),” a third questioned.
A fourth despaired: “PLEASE! This can’t be ‘a thing'”
“Damn did all the other single men on earth die or what,” a fifth joked.
However, not all were as negative, with some writing well wishes to the couple.
“Happy Easter, my darling. I hope you’re having the best time,” beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall penned.
