Katie Price, 46, ‘heartbroken’ as she shares health update on son Harvey, 22, who faces ‘high risk of heart attack’
Katie Price has revealed her son Harvey’s weight has reached a “life-threatening” level, approaching 30 stone (188kg).
The 46-year-old former glamour model shared her concerns on social media over the weekend, saying she is “heartbroken and gutted” about her 22-year-old son’s increasing weight.
Harvey, who lives with multiple health conditions including Prader-Willi syndrome, is now at “high risk of having a heart attack” according to his worried mother.
Price is awaiting doctors’ approval to start Harvey on weight loss medication called Mounjaro.
Prader-Willi syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes Harvey to experience chronic hunger, making weight management extremely challenging.
The condition is one of several health issues Harvey battles daily, alongside blindness, autism and septo-optic dysplasia.
His substantial weight gain has severely impacted his mobility and quality of life.
“He struggles to put his trainers on or struggles to walk anywhere,” Price explained in her Snapchat video.
The increasing weight has put Harvey at serious risk of cardiovascular problems, with Price noting he’s now “at high risk of having a heart attack”.

Taking to the social media app, Price shared her distress adding: “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone.”
She continued: “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.
“It’s just another thing I have to deal with… but I love him and I’m going to help him through this.”
Price revealed earlier this year that she had turned to weight loss injections to help Harvey control his weight.
Mounjaro, the brand name for tirzepatide, is an Ozempic-style medication that can help suppress appetite.
“The good thing about starting him on the drug is, if it has any effect, you can stop it because you do it weekly,” Price told The Sun.
“We’ve tried food, he’s had dietitians, it’s just the way he is. And he’s on a lot of medication which the drug won’t affect.”
Doctors have advised Harvey may need the treatment for up to two years.
Harvey is Price’s eldest child, born from her relationship with former footballer Dwight Yorke in the early 2000s.
According to reports, Yorke “brutally rejected” Price and his son following their brief romance.
The ex-Premier League star initially denied paternity until a DNA test proved otherwise.
Price is also mother to four other children: Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with first husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with former husband Kieran Hayler.
Despite his health struggles, Harvey has been supportive of his mother’s career, recently cheering her on backstage during her pantomime performances.
Price added: “So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand.”
Despite the challenges, Price remains committed to improving her son’s health and quality of life.
She is currently waiting for doctors to approve starting him on Mounjaro “and his journey to a healthy life.”
The former glamour model recently shared footage of Harvey supporting her backstage during her Easter pantomime production of Pinocchio, calling him “my bestie” and “my Harvey bear”.
