Emily Carver PREGNANT: GB News baby as Patrick Christys halts show to make bombshell personal announcement
Emily Carver has announced she and Patrick Christys are expecting a baby.
In a wonderful moment on the People’s Channel, Patrick closed out his Friday night show with his regular Union Jackass and Greatest Briton segment.
Much to the delight of the studio audience, it came with a twist as he nominated his wife as Greatest Briton.
He then showed a video clip as to why.
“I was going to ask for your pick [for Greatest Briton] Emily but then I thought I would nominate my own”, Patrick said.
“And I thought, I might nominate you, Emily Carver. And I think you might know why.”

Footage of Emily receiving an ultrasound was then shown to the GB News audience.
The clip was met with a rapturous round of applause and whoops from the live studio audience.
“There were some annoyingly eagle-eyed people out there who seemed to know immediately”, said Emily.
“She’s 19-weeks-old, so hopefully she will be a September baby.”
Patrick joked: “Touch wood, it’s not twins.”
He then opened the floor to the panel which consisted of the likes of fellow GB News presenter Miriam Cates and Labour MP Barry Gardiner to ask for tips on parenting.
Miriam said: “Try and enjoy every stage. Every stage is different and challenging in different ways.
“You have just got to try and enjoy every stage. Get lots of help – don’t refuse any help in those first few weeks.”
An audience member then called out advising the pair: “She needs to sleep.”
Emily and Patrick tied the knot last year before jetting off to Thailand in November for a two-week honeymoon.
She told followers on Instagram: “First time in Thailand – and we absolutely loved it!!”
