David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela dies aged 62 after being found home alone as Baywatch star issues statement
David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has died at the age of 62, with the former Baywatch actress being found dead at her Los Angeles home last night.
Family members discovered her body after they hadn’t heard from her for several days and went to check on her.
Bach-Hasselhoff was best known for her role as café owner Kaye Morgan in the hit TV series Baywatch.
Police were called to the property at around 10pm on Wednesday evening.
Upon arrival, they discovered she had passed away and alerted authorities.
The Daily Mail reported that Bach-Hasselhoff died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, though no suicide note was found at the scene, with the actress being alone at her property when she died.

Bach-Hasselhoff began her acting career with a role in Francis Ford Coppola’s “Rumble Fish” in 1983.
She later joined the cast of Baywatch in 1989, the same year she married David Hasselhoff.
Her character, Kaye Morgan, was a café owner in the popular beach drama series.
The actress worked in television throughout her career, with Baywatch remaining her most recognised role.
She appeared alongside her then-husband, who starred as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the iconic series.
Bach-Hasselhoff was married to David Hasselhoff for 17 years, from 1989 to 2006 – leaving the couple to have a contentious divorce, with disputes over spousal support continuing as late as 2017.
Their relationship was well-documented in the media during and after their marriage, as the couple were prominent figures in Hollywood throughout the 1990s.
Their separation was finalised in 2006 after nearly two decades together.
David Hasselhoff issued a statement following the tragic news of his ex-wife’s passing.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” he told TMZ.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
The family has not released any further details about funeral arrangements.
