Jeremy Clarkson blasts ‘cesspit’ UK in damning Labour priorities rant: ‘It makes me so angry!’
Jeremy Clarkson has launched a fresh attack on the Labour-run councils and Keir Starmer’s Government as he takes aim at the “cesspit” state of Britain.
The 64-year-old presenter blasted “disgusting” littering around the UK and the Government’s apparent lack of interest in addressing the issue.
“I don’t believe in the death penalty but for littering, I’d make an exception,” Clarkson wrote furiously.
Turning his ire from the Government’s farming tax raid, the former Top Gear presenter took aim at the state of Britain’s streets and pavements, which he suggested had become “an all-comers fly-tipping competition.”
Refuse carelessly discarded extended from coke cans and food wrappers to “broken cookers and dead pets,” the 64-year-old fumed in his column for The Sun.
Such is the severity Britain’s desperate rubbish issues that Clarkson draws comparisons to some of the world’s “off-the-beaten-track backwaters”.
Clarkson compares the developing littering culture in the UK to that of India, Bolivia and Manilla in the Philippines which he argued has the “world’s most disgusting litter problem”.
However, he cautioned some from blaming the members of the immigrant community who originate from such parts of the world as the source of the country’s trash problem.

The 64-year-old suggested the littering is as bad in the Cotswolds, where he jokes the population is largely descended from the “Piltdown Man” – a historical fraud purporting to have uncovered an early human ancestor in Sussex.
“Every hedgerow round my farm is full of c**p and it makes me so angry as I drive along, my hair starts to steam,” he fumed.
To that end, Clarkson threw his weight behind planting snipers in trees and pylons around the country to dispatch any litterers at the moment of their infraction.
Yet, he despaired that this fantasy will not come to fruition as the Labour party rules the country instead of him.
Short of Assassinating fly-tippers, Clarkson slams the priorities of Labour councils – using Handsworth in Birmingham as an example.
The 64-year-old rages they would “rather spend their money on plant-based diets for people in the transgender community than emptying bins or cleaning streets.”
Keir Starmer’s Government also did not escape the motoring journalist’s ire, who he also accuses of not “being bothered” about the parlous state of the UK.
In his broadside, Clarkson blasted the Government’s foreign aid budget being used to clear up areas overseas before the UK.
He accused Labour of being more concerned with a variety of environmental peccadilloes over the nation “being turned into a rat-infested cesspit”.
