ITV The Masked Singer viewers ‘work out’ Pufferfish as huge Hollywood A-lister after clues ‘fell into place!’
The Masked Singer fans are continuing to share their theories as to which celebrities might be hiding behind the costumes, with predictions coming in thick and fast.
One of the latest Reddit theories suggests Pufferfish could be Hollywood A-lister, Zendaya, with one fan strongly believing a series of clues lines up with the 28-year-old.
Taking to the forum site, the fan wrote: “So in the clues they said walkin and I thought of Christopher [Walken] and checked to see who was in a movie with him recently, and the rest fell into place.”
They continued: “We have the spider, the special place for the Brits, Material girl in the soundtrack and apparently she was a cover girl for a magazine with that name, versace in the soundtrack and she was in a Bruno Mars video with that in the name, and was in a Katy Perry video or sang one of her songs or something, she was invited to light the Empire State Building…”
The fan quipped: “Anything else or am I just losing it?”
The Greatest Showman star Zendaya has indeed worked with Christopher Walken in Dune: Part Two.
She is also engaged to English Spiderman actor, Tom Holland, lining up with the clues about “Brits” and “spiders”.
However, Reddit users responding to the theory didn’t all share the same belief that the actress would be featured in the singing competition.
“It doesn’t sound anything like her. Good effort trying to place the clues with her though!” one argued.
Someone else shared: “This is actually Samantha barks,” with a third admitting: “Sorry Gang I think ur losing it with this guess. props for the effort tho.”
“I was thinking Perrie Edwards, but nothing but a guess. A few clues kinda fit, but nothing conclusive,” another penned.
A different fan and Reddit user posted: “I think Ashley Roberts.” (sic)
The bizarre competition show has seen extra drama this year, with one well-known singer recently storming off the stage before revealing their true identity.
Macy Gray, who starred in the show as Toad in the Hole, had performed Boney M’s Sunny earlier in the programme, with panellist Mo Gilligan initially speculating the voice could belong to Tracy Chapman.
Gray found herself in the bottom two alongside Bear during Saturday’s show, with the judging panel ultimately voting to save her competitor.
As the decision and Toad in the Hole’s real name was announced, Gray turned and walked off stage without saying a word before she could be unmasked – breaking with usual show tradition.

Host Joel Dommett was unsure how to respond to the unexpected turn of events, and simply shrugged at the cameras while producers tried to step in.
The judging panel, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, and Maya Jama were also stunned.
Although the singer eventually returned to be unmasked, social media wasn’t very forgiving, with viewers labelling her a “diva”.
