Ant McPartlin yells ‘give them hell!’ in ITV I’m A Celebrity Cyclone first-look
ITV I’m a Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec will preside over the chaos of the hotly anticipated Cyclone challenge in tonight’s installment of drama Down Under.
The series semi-finalists Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, Richard Coles and Oti Mabuse will face off as revealed in a sneak-peek clip.
The four celebs, outfitted in spangly superhero capes, will take on the iconic challenge tonight in a bid to collect stars for the camp.
High powered hoses, projectiles, gouts of flame, and torrents of water and slime will buffet the semi-finalists as they scramble to victory.
In the preview, the four are seen on a spinning platform awaiting the beginning of the iconic Trial.
“You can go when you see the fireball!” Donnelly declared ominously.
“Rangers, start your engines!” He yelled into a megaphone.
McPartlin joined in, commanding: “Don’t hold back you lot. Give them hell!”
The presenter’s yells signalled the hoses to start spraying jets of water and goo, followed by a flash of orange flame.
Shrieks and yells rang out from the semi-finalists as they got their first taste of the legendary Trial.
“This is epic. I just love it. What can I say? It’s like Christmas!” McPartlin exclaimed as he watched over the chaos.
An overjoyed Donnelly shot back: “What’s not to love?! They’re drenched already!”
Fan-favourite contestants Alan Halsall, of Coronation Street fame, and influencer GK Barry were voted off the jungle last night.
They were not among the celebs who controversially won immunity from elimination earlier this week.
Dancing of Ice judge and former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabusue was the lucky celeb who was saved from the public vote and given a ticket to the Cyclone.
As the bombshell change to the format was announced, fans expressed disappointment with a celeb being given a free pass from public scrutiny.
