Ant and Dec left ‘sweating’ over grisly I’m A Celebrity trial as Richard Coles takes on ‘worst of the worst’
This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here is edging close to the final, so the Bushtucker Trials are being cranked up a notch.
Friday’s challenge was particularly ghastly, with Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles taking on a classic drinking challenge which was dubbed “the worst of the worst.”
Hosts Ant and Dec walked Coles and Rooney through what to expect in the party themed drinking trial.
It was revealed they’d both be drinking to win stars for camp, however they’d also be competing against one another in some of the drinking games, with the loser having to take on a forfeit.
There were six stars up for grabs, equaling six meals for camp, as well as an additional bonus star which would grant all the celebrities a drink of their choice.
The duo sailed through the trial until the final bonus round, a fishbowl cocktail with blended giant mealworms, surströmming, crocodile anus and vomit fruit.
“It’s the worst of the worst,” McPartlin admitted as the pair laid eyes on the vile concoction.
As the two got ready to finish the “drink” together, they each took a straw as Rooney declared it smelt like “every dirty thing going.”
As they started, the TV personality retched and said she couldn’t keep going, but Coles powered on through in a valiant attempt to finish the huge fishbowl alone.
“I’m sweating watching!” McPartlin exclaimed over the grisly sight.
“I feel like I’m standing in the toilet of a nightclub with my friend,” Rooney confessed.
Once Coles had finished, the two had succeeded in winning all six stars for camp.
“I cannot believe you’ve done all of that Richard,” Rooney gushed in disbelief.
Donnelly went on to admit: “I’ve never seen anything like that!”
“Oh my god. The man’s a machine!” McPartlin agreed.
The pair were beaming over their achievement and couldn’t wait to reveal the welcome news to their campmates.

“I feel in a way, we’ve sort of turned water into wine here today, haven’t we?” Coles summarised.
Later, the group enjoyed a well-earned dinner and it was time for their chosen beverage.

With drinks in hand, the celebrities all posed for a jungle selfie on the disposable camera.
